Winchester Big 5 Safari Classic Set

I don't think the value would go down. I remember a new special issue 458 (anniversary or Cabelas or something) that was really nice for $1200 and thinking I should buy it. Now no longer available new and I've seen them between $1400 and $1800 used.... And where are you going to find a factory Model 70 in 470 capstick?

I do think these will hold their value and long term go up.

This one could go either way. Get a load of this similar example:

MODEL 70 CUSTOM SAFARI EXPRESS 375 H&H $3,750
Condition: Never fired
Caliber: .375 H&H

The gold inlays make the big 5's pretty special.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
