Those are classy looking African books! If they read as good as they look, they are classics!

I'm reading A journey to central Africa now.
Hi travels along the Nile thru Egypt where I have been to holliday but 170 years earlier.
Then to Sudan where he is where I'm reading now.
Fun to read old books about places I have been or planning to go.
Before our Namibia Trip last summer I read some books written by Charles John Anderson
(Karl-johan Andersson) Hi's mother were from my area. Also went to Etosha entering thru "Anderson gate" named after him. He lived in and explored parts of Namibia and Botswana etc.

You are so right @Peter Larsson. It is wonderful to read about places your have been or vice versa. You get to see things in a whole new way.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
