I recently bought a semi auto 22LR pistol that has a barrel threaded for a suppressor. I don't plan on attaching a suppressor to this gun anytime soon, so just leaving the cap in place for now. However, when I was test firing the gun earlier today; I noticed the thread cap was working loose after about two magazines or so. I was thinking about putting a small amount of Loctite 242 Blue on the threads, but is there a more appropriate thread locker for this application?

Clear fingernail polish typically does a decent job for temp locking threads…

Just raid that women’s make up stash I know you keep, and you’ll be good..

Plumber’s tape if you don’t want *too* permanent of a solution. Still enough for…errr…some of the FASTER shooting.

Nice Report! Im about to pull the trigger on booking the LDE with Patrick. I have been talking about it with him for about 3 yrs now. Romain hit me up the other day with an offer I can't refuse for 2027.

Andrew, I commented that your on 375 H&H for sale was the fair price.

Like I commented, my classic stainless has the original 24” barrel.

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew
