Anybody familiar with these? I found one for sale for 500 but I’m curious if it’s a good deal, bad deal or just average. Don’t know the year of manufacture or any other details. I don’t know much about them but thought it might be fun to play with.

Cool little rifle. There is one in very nice condition on Guns America for $895. Seems the $400-$500 is a average price. Check the barrel for pitting.

@Tucketed ,Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the rifle is a few states away from me so I can’t put eyes on it. I’m trying to work a deal on it and a Ruger No. 1 in 416 Rigby, I thought it would be neat for my grandson to learn to shoot with.

That lever on the right hand side of the action is the safety.

I have a Vickers empire a real tack driver I put a 10x fecker scope on it with German wolf ammo shoots like a dream.eveyone likes to shoot it.my Target gunsmith buddy loves those cadet style British actions.something about the way the trigger is built .if u pass on it I may be game for it

Beautiful combination foresight. The other part, currently folded down, is probably a circular/globe foresight.
