Mr Donald Trump Junior visited a game reserve near Lake Natron, which is under the Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA) in Longido District, Arusha region.
While in the area yesterday, Mr Trump’s son held talks with Natural Resources and Tourism Minister Mohamed Mchengerwa, who informed him about the tourism opportunities in the country.

Mr Mchengerwa used that opportunity to ask Mr Trump Junior to become a tourism ambassador of Tanzania, which, the minister said, has been blessed with many tourist attractions that could not be found anywhere else. The minister also told Mr Trump Junior about the direction of the tourism sector and various investment opportunities in the country.
“Here in Tanzania, we have a good direction towards promoting tourism and attracting more tourists by improving tourism services, including the infrastructure of game reserves,” said the minister.

That is awesome that he met with the tourism manager. I wish he could do more to get the importance of hunting in front of more people since he supports it so strongly. But, with that said, I understand his dilemma. He does raise huge amounts of money with auctions etc at the conferences.

Trump jr. has hunted Spain three times, the last with his son.

All I´ve read about him in our press, which is not exactly pro Trump is that he is a true sportsman and very courteous ,

A friend of mine actually met him and agrees that he is a nice and easygoing guy.

A little tangential, but I figure Hunter Biden is Pres Trump's son. I mean, Joe has blamed every other f' up on Trump. BTW...I had an opportunity to talk with DT,Jr two years ago. Smart and articulate and a knowledgeable hunter.............FWB

Sometimes you can fill a stringer with a bare hook :):)

I've watched several of his interviews. Articulate and just as outspoken as DT Sr. Those with TDS likely pay little attention though.

He has hunted in Sweden several times also, Norway would be good hunt area for him to visit .

In my opinion every time a non-hunter associates him or anyone with his name with hunting it adds additional barriers that we and the next generation will have to remove. But what do I know.....

That is a very dangerous line of thought. We should not exclude him or anyone else from the community just because people don't like their politics. That would make us just as bad, if not worse, than the people who hate us for irrational/misguided reasons.

I have no opinion on this man, I have not met him. If he enjoys hunting and firearms then it is likely we would share some common ground. I have hunted with people whos political views did not line up with mine, we simply kept the talk to hunting.

Point well made Matt. However for me it's not about politics. But I won't go down that rat hole any further.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
