There Are Hunting Rifles, and Then There Are Stopping Rifles – Part I

Enjoyed the read Ardent.

I too am surprised by the 505 on the penetration test. It would be interesting to know what the 375 does with solids if you ever get the chance.

All the best.

Certainly, on my mind too, I'd like to do the .375 with 300gr abd 350gr solids and see what I get. It will be awhile as all the planks are frozen, -25 up here now and will be below zero for many months yet. We're trying to organise another Wood Bison hunt if my partner and I can buy time from our wives and kids, and I'll be sure to bring something heavy and compare it to his .300 Mag. We'd get close and aim for identical shot placement is the idea, a lot of variables still but it's a start.

Until this guy posts something on pay it forward free I would avoid him at all costs.

If it hasn't sold by next week I might be interested. Stock would have to be changed along with some other items. I'm already having a 416 Rigby built so money is a tad bit tight.

Hey pal! I'll take all the .375 bullets if they're available.
Thanks!
