So I just acquired a No1 in 375 H&H from my brother. I traded him an early 375 Ruger African (No barrel band) for it. I like it, but it had the front sight removed and a muzzle brake installed. It’s very easy to shoot, but I am already building myself a custom 375 H&H on a stainless MRC 1999, so it seems a little redundant.
I’m wondering if anyone has ever seen a switch barrel setup on a No1? I know there are limitations, but I’m thinking it would make a cool cased set with; .219 wasp, 30-30, and 38-55 barrels. That would keep the family case heads the same so the same extractor setup for all 3.
