A Grand Finale in the Eastern Cape – Sable Dreams and Kudu Grit
All good things must come to an end, and today marked the final chapter of an unforgettable safari. But we made it count—going all out for a dream animal, and what a way to finish!
The day began in the rugged mountains of the Eastern Cape, where we hunted an absolutely magnificent jet black Sable bull. A bucket-list trophy for many, and this one was nothing short of spectacular. Well done, sir—this is a memory that will last a lifetime.
The magic didn’t stop there. Our other client, after days of dedication and patience, finally got his Kudu bull—an old warrior, full of character and history. With teeth worn down to almost nothing, this hunt wasn’t just a trophy moment—it was a responsible and respectful use of nature’s cycle. A true Eastern Cape legend, now honored.
To round off the day, the father set out for a Nyala female, prized for her distinctive and beautifully patterned skin, so different from the male. We’d seen plenty throughout the week, and it gave us the opportunity to take a great look at these beautiful animals. After some determined walking and searching, we found her. A fitting end to a week of persistence, beauty, and wild rewards.
