A New Haven Winchester Model 70 Safari Express in 458 Win Mag. I'm the second owner and only took it to the range a couple times. Unsure of the original owner but I don't believe he shot it much and doubt if it's ever been hunted. It's in very good condition.

Asking $1,750 shipped for the rifle. Scope and mounts are not included.
I have two boxes of Federal Woodleigh 500 grain Solids available for an additional $200 to the person buying the rifle.

The scope & mounts are not included. They are a Trijicon Accupoint scope in Talley rings and base.

Fellas, this guy g7777 is a "new member" who joined in 2013 and doesn't know what a CRF bolt looks like. Scammer? Reported already.

Yes, controlled feed.

Stock is standard but I will measure this afternoon when I get home. I'm 6'6" and the stock works for me.

Oh, please. So he missed the picture of claw extractor, and maybe didn't understand the connection to New Haven. After 1964 a good many Model 70s were made in the Push Feed configuration, so what does it hurt if he asks to verify? A scammer that has just been hanging out since 2013? And then he shows an interest in something someone else is selling. What scam could he be trying to pull? Don't think so.

My first big bore was a New Haven safari express 458 WM. I conquered many deer and wild hogs with that rifle! There’s so many bullet options you could hunt anything on the planet.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .

I have quite a bit of 458 win mag brass, most of it new. How much are you looking for?
