I have just learned that the legendary PH and conservationist Tony Seth-Smith died on November 21. He was of a very old family in Kenya, and had an incredible career and life. He was a hunter with very few equals.
I had the opportunity to spend time with his son, the late Martin Seth-Smith on safari in 2019 and Martin told me many wonderful stories of hunting with and being out in the bush with his dad, and I got to handle Tony's Rigby 450 NE, which his mother gave him.
If you do not have his book, For the Honour of a Hunter, I highly suggest you get it. It is one of the very best.
