Hi all, I have a 1961 Ferlach/Borovnik double rifle (375H&H) which has pretty heavy triggers at 7 and 9 pounds, respectively.

I would like to have the pull weight reduced to 4 and 5 pounds.

I cannot seem to find any local gunsmiths that know how to work on these. I am in Minnesota but don’t mind shipping it out of state if necessary.

If you have any recommendations, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I dont own any doubles.. but the 2 names I hear over and over again by doubles guys are JJ Perodeau

and Ken Owen... phone number is: (901) 877-6853

Were I to start buying doubles, based on the number of references I see these guys get, and the AH members (as well as others) that only trust one of these two guys with their doubles.. I think that would be the only options I'd consider..

Thank you! I did speak with Ken about regulation last week and did ask him about the triggers, but he only does regulation work and didn’t have any recommendations. I will check the other reference :)

The best double man in the business is JJ perodeau in Enid OK. Every DR I buy imnediately go to him for a complete thorough review and anything wrong fixed. When I get it back I know it’s perfect in every way
