A wise man has always said- “practice makes perfect “. And that couldn’t be more correct when it comes to hunting in Africa where things/situations can change in an instant. My advice in preparation for Safari- shoot multiple times off the sticks, from a rest (like a tree branch in the African bush) and not using a rest. But also- run some laps to get your heart rate up just prior to shooting because most likely, when the adrenaline sets in, this is what you’ll be experiencing which makes the crosshairs bounce all over the place... so many people do not practice real Safari scenarios prior to going across the Atlantic. The Black Death and other DG will appreciate that inexperience....
