I will be driving to Dallas soon to fly to Johannesburg. Any tips or suggestions for long-term parking at DFW (2 weeks)? Thanks!

I know many that use The Parking Spot. Safe travels!

Yes, I used the Parking Spot last year. Make an online reservation, save a little money. They have three locations, so pick the one most convenient and/or cheapest.

The Parking Spot is fine and cheaper than airport parking. The closest reasonable priced airport parking to D would be North Long Term parking. At D terminal would be expensive.

From a local perspective, the Spot is probably the most popular parking for long-term. Also nice that they drop you at the door and you don't have to drag your bags across acres of parking.

I agree with the posters above on using Spot. For long term parking it's much cheaper than parking in the terminal garages and probably a lot safer for your vehicle. My car was broken into in the Terminal C garage a few years ago.

That's a good point about security. The cameras and security coverage are much better at Spot than the back of the parking decks in airport. Spot is well lighted with a lot of cameras and better movement from security individuals.

Agree on all points given on Spot down here. We have had out truck broken into in long term parking on the airport but that was over a decade ago.

DFW parking on their website has a prepay option for parking that is cheap in my opinion and you park next to terminal. I parked for 21 days was like $140

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
