Over under for turkey

I've thought about using TSS T shot for home defense, but I haven't patterned them. T shot gives 24 pellets per ounce and I'd consider that better odds than 9 or 10 pellets of 00BUCK. If you step down to #2's you get 54 pellets per ounce, meaning 108 for the loads you are looking at!
Have you fired a short barreled 12 gauge in a small room without ear protection? Pretty devastating ... on both ends. Or maybe you can offer the intruder a coffee while you dig out the earplugs. :D Three pellets of 00 buck in the torso = a pile of hamburger. Tungsten T shot would probably pass through an intruder like he was butter ... even if he was big as Bubba Smith. Then through several rooms in the home ... and maybe through the home next door. Sometimes there is such thing as too much gun.

Who like to use a OU for Turkey? I like having one barrel with an open choke for most shots and one with a tight choke.
I’ve got quite a few friends who do. I’ve personally shot wild turkeys in the US with my 12 gauge 3” Magnum Beretta Model 626E boxlock ejector side by side (employing the left fully choked barrel and Remington Premier Magnum Turkey 56 gram copper plated #4 shells). Never had a problem.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!
