Off-hand shooting

I certainly don’t have much more to offer. Ton of great information here. One thing I don’t see is what magnification is your scope on? First safari my ph turned my rifle scope off of 9 and down to 6x power. It surprisingly helped a ton. This is when free hand shooting or even off of sticks. It lessens the perceived movement of the crosshairs. From then on the only time my scope is above 6 is from a blind or bench.
The way I figure it if the game is far away you have plenty of time to fiddle around and turn up the power. It it jumps up right in my grill I want the scope set On the lowest setting to better my chance of finding it in the scope and picking my spot. I would sure like to have some of the trophies lost due to scope being set too high(n)

I learned to shoot off hand to start with at an age so young I don't know how old I was, I graduated to a Iron sighted win 94 in 25-35 like most ranch raised kids in the day, and shot my first many deer on the ranch and a half dozen elk in Colorado..I was told and obeyed takeing shots under 200 yards and told not to wound!! Dad did not like wasting hunting time on a track or blood trail...Later went to a 30-30 then a 250-3000 and today a 30-06 or 338, but still from time to time use the early guns..

I shun holding a gun up and letting the muscle groups get to shaking, I toss the gun to my shoulder and pull the trigger, I usually shoot a three shot group from 2 to 6 inches at 100..At the end of each bench shooting sight in bullet testing I shoot about 10 rounds off hand, if Im off I shoot another 10 until Im up to snuff..been doing this for 60 plus years and at 85 those groups require I shoot faster and 6 inches at 100 is now the norm, the 2" groups have taken the form of an accident! :) Im lifting light weights to help maintain that ability, you have t wor at off hand shooting, but if you master the off hand shot and you can, you can shoot under any circumstances..

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
