NASCAR has been dead to me for about a decade. I haven't missed it at all.
Lot more athletic than you'll ever know.
Needs to be a big emblem on side of car telling the brand ..Oval ,bow tie ,whatever..Got to get a close up of grill to know what each is...Smaller engines with no restrictions on them too.
They couldn't hold a candle to the good ol' boy STOCK CAR drivers that used to drive. They have air conditioned suits, piped in gatorade, power steering, power brakes, uber safe cars, super grip tires, computer instrument panels, micro managed teams, million dollar research centers. Sorry, the real stock car drivers left the building a loooooong time ago. Nothing now but a bunch of micromanaged, groomed, sanitized, fair haired, politically correct prima donnas. Athletes? You gotta be kidding.
We had it much tuffer but these guys today are all multi-millionaires..and of course most are highly educated with very high IQs according to many reports..
I can't think of a single professional sport, other than jockeys maybe, where you have fewer athletes with college degrees.
On a positive note, the NRA was a co-sponsor of the recent Bristol NASCAR race.
I hate to pour fuel on the fire but maybe you have all noticed that country music isn’t the same as it once was, nor are it’s fans, same for nascar, same for school sports, sports bars etc etc. There will always be some good apples in there I guess. I’m not surprised that a business in today’s environment doesn’t want to advertise something gun related, but I am surprised that business is nascar
LOL.,.Shows what a degree is worth....
Our culture is under attack plain and simple. Nothing is sacred anymore. In many ways I’m glad I won’t be around in 50 years to see what this country is turning into. This is progress?
So why hasn’t there been the same backlash and calls for boycotts as there was for Yeti?
Seems like a majority of people dont really care about NASCAR anymore.
I'm an F1 person myself.
Stupid is as stupid does. It's been only a couple weeks. Give it time to really sink in. Country music? Country, yes. Music? Hell, no. Real country music died in the 1970s.
There is still some good country music out there, but very little of it.
Most of it now is country rock which I can't stand.
“Bad Rock with a fiddle” -Tom Petty on today’s country music.
No, Country died when CMT sold out to Viacom and NYC morons became in charge.
How about sake?
They might need to up the proof of it some but at least is has alcohol in it.
You asked for it. You got it. Toyota. NASCAR...............FAIL.
