My wife and I arrived home yesterday after a fantastic two months away
When had a great time and created many new memories.
Our trip allowed us to meet quite a few AH members and each and every one of them were outstanding people that were a pleasure to meet
My wife Judy and I would like to give our heartfelt thanks to the kindness and generosity of those we met. It was an incredible experience meeting all these marvelous people with a common interests. My wife was amazed that there are so many wonderful people involved in conservation thru hunting and even tho a non hunter herself was made to feel welcome and special in their company. The AH community is truly made up of a group of wonderful people.
Once again thank you to all we met and apologies to those we couldn't meet but would have loved to meet.
Any AH members travelling to Australia is more than welcome in our home if you are in our area and need a break from your travels. All you have to do is send me a PM and we can see what we can do.

The big question is- How did you manage to survive 2 months away from your 35, Bob? :LOL:
@Albert GRANT
It was hard mate but I coped.
I survived by playing with some toys in the USA. Even a 458 Lott in a Ruger No1 with full power loads. I don't see what all the fuss and hoo har is about, I didn't find it that bad. Firm recoil but nothing to cry about. You definitely don't need big boy pants on to use it.
In England I got to go to Holts auction house and met Nick Holt himself ( another nice person) and got to drool over a lot of exquisite and plain firearms. They even had a few Tranter revolvers and knew what a Quackenbush rifle was.
That's a good one to throw up in a conversation ask someone about a Quackenbush.
So all was well.
Bob

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
