HSM Ammo

Probably 10 plus years ago, I bought 3 or 4 boxes of .300 Win Mag ammo from HSM. It was loaded with Berger VLD's which normally shot really really accurately through my various rifles. None of the ammo shot worth a darn.

Anyone else experience any issues with their loadings? I was using them for semi-cheap practice ammo but haven't touched them since.

Watching this, thinking about buying some 300 H&H practice ammo from HSM, would be interested to hear folks’ opinions.

I bought a few boxes of HSM 270 and 300 win a few years back as they were on sale. I believe they were loaded with Sierra and Barnes didn’t have luck with their loads - haven’t bought any since

I’ve only used their handgun ammunition, but have been pleased with it.

Tried some of their 7STW ammo about two years ago. Mistake. Had have extractor and ejector replaced in Remington 700 bolt after 2 rounds. Loads over pressured.
