Halloween rifle survey! (What would you choose to finally save Haddonfield from Michael Myers?!)

Michael Myers isn’t as scary as the run of the mill, zombie democrat.

But to play along, overkill and repeatability are always good things. We’ll leave the MP5SD alone for this one and grab the always ready Scar 17.

@clockwork_7mm_gator ... I am going to disagree. I am a horror movie aficionado as well and know both stories. They are not dissimilar:

Childhood trauma creates killer.
Adult killer selects a mask and weapon.
Adult killer begins actually killing.
People start dying at the rate of a prairie dog shoot.
BLM protest level chaos insues.
A movie franchise is born.

Oh, and it'd be a .45-70 for me.

Sort of. The basic trajectories are similar. The motivating details not so much. Jason's mother is the original killer in F13th and he only becomes a supernatural stalker after she gets her head chopped off... he's also presumably easier to kill (as happens multiple times in the franchise) by drowning. Original Jason doesn't have the hockey mask, either. Michael is the product of a Celtic curse passed down through generations... and doesn't have the built-in "easy way to kill him."

45-70 strikes me as a very good choice!

4 Bore and panga. You need to dismember him.

This was around in 1988?!
We have so many rules of engagement yet Michael has none? That’s too much like real combat LOL

1988 equivalent: HKG3 SG1 because I want to keep Michael and his Hollywood special effects far away from me.

Up close however, Tundra’s 45-70 would be more confidence inspiring.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
