Goats in Scotland - The latest hunting outrage in the media

If my eyes don't deceive me, the "Stalker" (Niall Rowantree) they used for their Stag hunt is an incredibly knowledgable hunter, manager and conservationist.

Muppets whining again.

It just annoys us that someone bringing money to a rural location is vilified for something that is all above board legal and part of cull programme and all these so called famous celebs jump on band wagon to get their face in papers

Who cares what a bunch of people with low moral values with their multiple marriages think. They need to do a little more soul searching.

This should not even made the news FFS. I don't think there was much to report today. I have been on Isley and have friends who hunt there, the goats are feral and need culling to keep the very delicate balance of flora and fauna on the island.

This shouldn't make the news . . . but it does. And two lawmakers - one the MP for the area where the hunt took place - and the other the First Minister of Scotland (like the Prime Minister) - are both suggesting they may put a stop to this, whatever this is.

Bottom line is that we can say whatever we want about our "rights" but our right to hunt can be taken away anywhere in the world, including the US, if politicians decide that it's in their best interests to do so.

I could not believe the statement given by Ms Sturgeon, Scotland´s First Minister.

She thinks it´s fine to cull animals for conservation, but does not approve of people boasting about it and taking their pics on the media.

Typical socialist thinking

Totally agree

The BBC Article mentions that the goats are feral and invasive like our expanding feral hog populations.

Maybe we need an AH hunt.......help the folks over there with the problem!(y)

It was mentioned on the BBC yesterday morning on Radio 5live.
The host of the breakfast show, Nicky Campbell started talking about the goat hunt but refused to get into it as he had apparently already stated his opinion on trophy hunting on social media and couldn't discuss it on the 'unbiased' BBC although he had made it clear which side of the fence he was on.
This morning he urged everyone to reach out to the hunter and treat her with compassion, feel sorry for here as something had obviously happened in her life to make her want to hurt beautiful animals.
What a crock of s**t. The bloke is a fool.

Andy Murray...............the Olympic champion tennis player that jumped on the bandwagon calling this hunt "disgraceful", lists his favorite breakfast as "bacon and eggs" and his favorite dinner as "chicken". I think it is disgraceful that he hires people to butcher pigs and chickens for his enjoyment. Put your money where your mouth is Andy........if you don't want anything killed...........then stop eating it!!!....................FWB
