I was browsing Midway and saw this ammunition in 375 h&h and 416 Remington. It's my first time seeing anything about it. Interesting bullet concepts/gimmicks? I'm curious if anyone has knowpedge/experiece with it?

New to me too. While I struggle to not be an old set in his ways Boomer…..I am suspicious of new bullet designs that promise “no compromises “

Fluid transfer Xtreme Penetrator bullets in handguns proved to be effective. I am going to try them in 45/70 sometime in the next year. I would like to see some high velocity gel results with some bone/rib then gel results as well. All I have seen to date was low velocity.

If you were going to go this route, I’d think cutting edge raptor would be a better choice. Somewhat similar final shape, but you get the added damage from the petals, and a lot more proven field testing. Penetration usually isn’t a problem in 375 H&H. Over penetration on buffalo often is. I’m usually pretty skeptical of radically new ideas, but some of them do turn out really effective.

Well I'm not a boomer, but like you I am skeptical of new bullet designs and their product description sounds like that of the Woodleigh Hydro.

"G9's patented shape propels fluid outward, increasing the wound diameter and ensuring devastating effectiveness. Shape Charge bullets easily cut through thick hide and heavy bone, providing consistent and reliable penetration. With Shape Charge safari ammunition, hunters no longer must compromise between deep penetration and expansive wounds, ensuring a clean, ethical take. Hunters can trust G9's Shape Charge Technology to deliver when it matters most."

Seems gimmicky to me. I’d also be concerned about the curvature of the face resulting in a non-straight line penetration. I may be remiss if the face is geometrically mirrored, it looks like it forms a scoop shape that favors one side in the picture?

I've used that bullet both in S Africa and in N America. It works differently from a traditional solid. Like any 375 solid, you're likely shooting through a broadside buffalo, and it's my understanding that the tip does very well to cut through thick bone, and the flutes actually keep it tracking straight.
But the wounding sets it apart. I've shot animals with solids and certain unnamed rounds that failed to open up. The damage these put down is very different. I wouldn't normally shoot a solid at an elk, but after using these on Safari, I thought I'd give it a try last fall. Below is the result. This was a high-angle, quartering-to shot at about 200y. You could see much greater than caliber damage throughout the wound channel, but the heart shows the effect well.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts
