I recently spoke with Bill Noody, the owner and one-man shop behind Northern Precision Custom Bullets (https://npcustombullets.com/). Bill is a great guy and makes excellent custom bullets.
I was specifically interested in the .470 and 9.3 calibre soft point bonded lead core bullets, which are often hard to source. Bill mentioned that if we can purchase the necessary die from Corbin (about $650–$700), he would make the bullets at no cost in any weight or shape (flat nose, round, etc.).
For reference, his bullets typically run about $100 for a box of 50.
I wanted to see if there’s any interest in pooling funds together to sponsor the die, with each contributor receiving the equivalent amount of bullets in return.
Example breakdown (assuming $700 die cost):

Example breakdown (assuming $700 die cost):
- 5 people → $140 each (≈ 70 bullets per person)
- 7 people → $100 each (≈ 50 bullets per person)
- 10 people → $70 each (≈ 35 bullets per person)
