Planning my vacation. The best fare that I can find is on Air Canada from Vancouver on a B787 (1k Cheaper than United, which worries me as United sucks). Does anyone have experience with their business class long haul?

being Canadian, we fly Air Canada quite a bit - but just regular economy

In Canada - Air Canada generally gets a bad rap . Not sure why, maybe because it's been around the longest, the oldest carrier we have. My experience - pretty much all the airlines have bugger ups and issues. Our experience with longer trips on Air Canada- not much different than British Airways, KLM, Lufthstansa (SPELLING?) and some of your American lines like United. We usually fly to London or Frankfurt

I’ve always preferred AC over Westjet.

I did AC business to Heathrow in 2016, and it was comparable to Lufthstansa at the time. Does the OP have any specific concerns over seating or service? I mean if you get down to it, is there much that’s worth an extra $1000 once you’re in the business category? Maybe I’m naive though

Edit: we took United business from Denver to Maui last year. And I would say the two are comparable to me. Had great service from united (for once).

The last I flew Air Canada was back in 2020, just before COVID hit, so its been a while.. but.. no complaints at all honestly.. the flights were uneventful.. the plane was clean and reasonably comfortable.. I'd put it on par with most US carriers (which isnt saying a lot since I really dont like US carriers).. its definitely not like flying on Aeroflot or Aero Mexico (truly shit airlines)..

I used to fly with them a good bit in the early 2000's (maybe 3-4 long hauls a year).. but I havent done that in 20 years... so my frame of reference is really just that one 2020 flight.. and one other, much shorter flight that I took from Dallas to Toronto about 10 years ago..

I wouldnt hesitate to book Air Canada again..

I usually fly economy from Vancouver to OR Tambo with Air Canada going through Heathrow. It's OK for economy. Never a problem with guns. ( Of course going through OR Tambo, you might get an education. I hate that place, but that is another story.)
I try to get a flight on the new Dreamliner aircraft, it is a bit more comfortable and spacious in economy. I know nothing about business case except that I am jealous of everyone who uses it!

I should have also said flying to Japan and returning from Hong Kong, and no firearms.

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
