A mare's nest is an Irish expression for looking for something you canot find ...I. E. A mare does not make a nest before foaling . .. ..

Actually changed that comment around when I was in RSA back in June ...We had been looking whatever and said I had spotted a zebras nest. .. The tracket got it PH missed the point.
