Does anyone know what is the velocity as marked standard on the old swartklip 22 LR boxes ? I have purchased cci subsonic ammo at 1050 fps but my rifle is an old pump Winchester 1936 ? ;at that time there were no subsonic bullets I guess ; but I still have lots of swartklip standard velocity and would like to try the cci hollow lead 22LR rated at 1050fps ; comments are most appreciated !

1050 is the standard velocity for a 22 long rifle. High velocity runs about 1200 or more and is by far more popular today. I don’t know when high velocity loads came out but I would guess yours was made with standard velocity in mind. I believe all loads are subsonic that are less than 1100.
My favorite squirrel load is CCI standard velocity. It’s a 40 grain solid at 1040.
I’m not sure if I helped or a just talked a circle around your question,

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
