From what I’ve seen there is a lot of Ammo Inc being clearance priced, I’d assume because of the sale to Olin. I bought a case of the 35 Whelen and a case of the 7RM LR.
Shot some of the 7mm and it was decent enough for 154/case
Living in Montana, as long as the item is shipped to Montana there is no sales tax. Sometimes I have to explain that to people I am ordering from. Montana gets you in so many other ways though like property taxes and vehicle registration. All a matter of how you want to take your poison!
I own several Franchi o/u shotguns and like them as a field gun. The Z-gun is a much better fit on a sporting clays field. I have shot many of them, I actually was very close to purchasing a Zoli last year but ended up with a Blaser instead.
No. 1 is a great rifle on a plains game safari, learn to shoot it and become proficient with it. I used a 300H&H on a trip and it accounted for 7 animals with 8 shots. With practice you can reload not much slower than most people shoot a bolt rifle.
I bet the Herter’s catalog claimed that you didn’t actually even need to get out of bed to get your limit of quackers if you had the good sense to use their shells. They also made you lose 10 pounds, grow 2” and made you irresistible to the fairer sex. @tarbe used to work for them and I love...
I was thinking of these the other day, we were talking at the clays range about the cost of shells. At the time I believe a box of 1-1/8 oz AA’s were $5, the plastic shells were about $25 a flat and you could reload a box of shells using reclaimed shot for about a buck and a quarter a box! I...
You dumb son of a bitch, how many children have you just killed! Maybe retarded ass kids that eat fuckin batteries are doing the world a favor! I ate dirt and probably lead paint but I’ve never given a baby a expensive rifle with a VX-5 or 6 on it and said, I bet you can’t get that battery out...
I think I might be the only one in this part of Montana that knows what Jambalaya is, but I made it and everyone liked it. I told everyone after we ate that I had to have the opossum overnighted in.
There would be an abrupt decline in this kind of stuff if the animals were drug out in the streets and hung from the street lights and left there for the rest of them to see.
Those look like an exceptional gun case, but like you said, weight is the issue. I have a bunch of different cases but find I like the TuffPak the best. I put a jacket in the bottom and fill in with clothing to keep the guns from moving around and never had a problem
Up for grabs to Pay it Forward for the Rings that @Racer00 posted is a full bag of brand new Winchester 338 Win Mag brass. Please claim these if you actually can use them and aren’t going to sell them.
