Nilgai are a fun hunt and great for the table. I’ve shot quite a few of them, I think they are tough but not near the mythical status hunters think about them. It’s a great spot and stalk hunt. If you are chasing them through the pasture in a truck you are wasting your time.

12-18 months is plenty. But you can do it much shorter if dates are available and you are not taking guns. But longer is definitely better to work out the details.
