Noah, don’t use me for reference as I am a poor example, I sold off 570gr a-frames as I had a 88b 500NE that didn’t seem to love them, at least not as much as other bullets, so sold them, then parted with the rifle as imported an 89b that seemed to love them, and ended up needing to source more 570gr A-frames. At times, I almost think we take turns enjoying different rifles and bullets alike.

Poking fun at myself aside…which I did with the 400gr A-Frames as well…my 450/400 89b didn’t like them as much as north fork, but my Westley Richards ended up loving them…if you are trying to get supplies un hand to be ready for your new project, I’d humbly suggest doing the alerts with Swift and Midway, then just keeping an eye on the classifieds. You have plenty of time, and show season is just around the corner. Swift will have stock on hand for SCI in Nashville. Even if you don’t go, if you call them up just before (like between DSC and SCI) you should find what you need and regular retail price. A-Frames are not unicorns. They do run out of stock every year and for much of the year, so buy plenty of the chamberings you need, and you’ll have a chance to replenish the same time the following year.

They did so a special run of .458 this year in the summer but believe it was in part due to a particular hunt they were sponsoring and have the opportunity to catch up with some backlog with distributors…but I’d expect they will show up flush with A-frames of all flavors and sizes come Nashville.

I’ll help you out, as I learned my lesson and just bought more than I’ll likely shoot before Nashville in the 300gr 375, 400gr 450/400, 500gr 450NE and 570gr 500NE. I don’t mind fronting you a box until they have stock and you can replace them when available.
