.375H&H 350gr Woodleigh RNSN - Load data?

I've got the Woodleigh manual, but I'm wondering if anyone has worked up pet loads for the 350gr RNSN HD Woodleigh in .375H&H?
I have a 375 ruger and was told 350gr wasn’t worth the extra S.D
But called my friend who shoots a m70 375h&h and he dugup this , hopefully this helps

-435075.0 gr2355

Sorry that came out weird
4350 75gr @ 2355 fps

Is this close to what the manual says? For my own educational purposes

For the .375 Ruger I’m not sure, but both Kevin Robertson & another PH from Zim really like the 350gr RNSP from Woodleigh in .375H&H.

Woodleigh manual is saying 68gr start & 71gr max.

FYI - I’ve found the woodleigh manual to be rather conservative with max loads.

Example: for .470ne with RL22 it states 110gr for start load - which is way to slow; however The RL22 factory published data states 117gr

I was just given 33 of these bullets and plan on working up a load soon. I see the thread is over a year old.

Does anyone else have experience with these on cape buffalo, gaur, or Asian buffalo?

Thank you,
Randy

Thanks much! @BenKK

I’ve got the 350gr RNSN HD going 2,275fps out of my 23” barrel; I could go faster but the accuracy is great and hits exact same POI as the 350gr FMJ.

My buddy has the 350gr RNSN HD and North Fork FPS hitting same POI in his Winchester M70 stainless.

If anyone has a woodleigh manual, can ya shoot me a photo of the 375HH page with 350 grain bullets. Ive reviewed all my manuals and the stop at 300 grains. Just wanna stay safe with my load development. Thanks in advance.

From the Woodleigh manual.

The Ws would've been my 1st choice in 375 and 458 back when I frequented both, but those bullets became scarce, so in the 375 I used the 350 TSX (longest and the Woodleigh advantage being the shortest that can accomodate more powder-not important in the relatively higher V 375, but very important in the 458 WM case!) Here's the load that worked best for me in 350, and yes it does perform like a 416. IF you wish to bag some suprise PG out to 300ish yds w/ the 375, I'd go with a premium 270 grain (W, Barnes, Swift) which are also deadly on DG. GL

and my comments from years back on reloading the 375. priceless. lol GL Enjoy!

v. accurate <1" 5-shot groups. Recommended for Buffalo (Syncerus) by Kevin Robertson due to the .350+ SD. I agree that IF you can get your hands on the much shorter Woodleigh Weldcores and FMJs you can (fit more powder) and wring another 100 fps out of this dangerous game load. No signs of overpressure whatsoever. Pleasant to shoot in a heavier gun (9-13 lbs.)

so much for keeping the pretty formatting! lol I think you can follow along, vertically.? It looked good prior to hitting send...

the advantage of the 350 is exceptionally high SD (penetrating power) but take a look at this data. My son got a whopper bull using 270, but he cheated (between the eyes per the recent red dot diagram!)

this was a TSX also

*screenshots work much better than copying/pasting text on AH, for future reference. saving and posting screenshots (a jpeg pic) works better than copy/paste for some reason, too. ;) "sorry that came out weird" I LMAO when I saw that (looking at the mess above!)

Thank all of you. I have 33 new Woogleigh 350s and over 40 loaded cases that need to be pulled. I pulled one case and it looks like he loaded this quite hot. Ill pull them all then work up a load with the pulled bullets and use the rest for Africa.
Thanks again

I load the 350 grain RNSN with 72 grains of 2209, gives me 2330fps from my Rigby's 24" barrel

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.
