This is probably the highest dollar for difference money you could spend on your 550. To quote from the marketing material for the Craig Boddington edition rifles, "The stock has been redesigned for this series with input from Craig and fellow Petersen’s Hunting TV host Kevin Steele. The new stock is more trim and lively in the hand with a thin wrist and a slimmer, shallower, shorter fore-end. The 13.5” length of pull is terminated by a red, one inch Decelerator® recoil pad fitted to the XX Claro Walnut stock."
They weigh 70% of what my factory stock does, and it really does change the feel of the rifle. If you're a lefty and want your 550 to handle like a Model 70, here is your chance. I tested it with the scope and irons and both work excellent as with the factory stock.
