Do tell. I’ve been trying to find it

Not a movie, but the Paramount series 1928 has part of the story line set in Africa of a young Dutton as a professional dangerous game hunter. Watched this pre-trip and enjoyed it!

Note: if you can find the original full length version titled “The Law Of The Desert” miniseries 1989-1991.

Did not read the entire post, but one of my favorites is Mountains of the Moon. Early 90's movie about Burton & Speke's search for the source of the Nile.

I just watched Trader Horn the other night. Love the 8-bore doubles they had for filming. The book is far better, and I'm not sure why Mr. Horn is not spoken of as much as other known names.

I wish a film would be made about Martin and Osa Johnsons adventures would be made .They caputred the old wild Africa before it disspeared forever .I also think Teddy Roosevelts African Game Trails would make a good movie he loved big adventures .
