Coues deer hunt suggestions

Hope everyone is doing well. Looking for some recommendations for getting a Coues deer hunt US or Mexico. I would also like to hear yalls personal experiences and thoughts on it.
 
You need points for the better units in Arizona, but there are areas that you can draw with just a couple or none.

I drew mine with 8 points and put in on a whim the next year and drew the same tag with just their loyalty point.

There are some good hunts south of the border but don't know anything about them.

What zones do you recome d to out in for?
 
I hunted in unit 36c both years, it is a smaller unit but holds some better deer. Any of the units just north of the border are good. Also unit 33 north of Tucson holds some nice bucks.

I haven't looked at the draw odds in a number of years to see if any are easier to draw than others.
 
If you want the purest experience and are willing to earn it, go to Arizona public land DIY. If you want the highest chance at a true giant and have the budget, go to Sonora with a reputable outfitter. Neither is better, they’re just different hunts.
