Up for sale is a used stock taken off of a Ruger Safari Magnum. The rifle was a mark II in 416 Rigby with barrel band front sling. Solid stock. No cracks, some safe handling marks. Asking $400 plus $35 shipping to you.

I believe all RSM's have a barrel band. But, some are located on the barrel ahead of the stock and others are inletted through the stock. A picture of the barrel channel would help to determine which you have.
 
It is not inlet in the stock on mine. The band was in front of the forend. Not at home to take pictures but here is a pic of the assembled rifle

I have 2 Ruger 416 Rigby's now. One early model which is a replacement for my first one which was plaqued with issues. Serial# 00046. Anyway, the early model is stamped Ruger Magnum which has a heavy contour barrel and the newer model is stamped Ruger Safari Magnum and has a lighter contour barrel and if memory serves me correctly, the recoil lug assembly is shorter. The two stocks are not interchangeable. I shorten all my stocks to fit me correctly and always buy a factory replacement stock in case I decide to sell them. Both my Rugers have a barrel band sling swivel in front of the forearm. I believe the first one #00046 came through the forearm. Not only was it plaqued with feeding and ejection problems it also had a 16 twist barrel when they advertised a 14 twist.

Nice. Every time I see the word Circassian I am reminded of a house in Seattle I did some work in that was full of exposed timber and it was all Circassian walnut. It is incredible:

I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
