Howdy,

Looking to purchase a Ruger African (77 Hawkeye) Lipsey’s limited 2011 production in 9.3x62. This is the medium profile barrel 23” length. Looking to get a moose gun for my daughter to take her on a trip to Canada next year.

I can provide references from other forums upon request. Willing to pay more than I should. Thinking 2k-2.5k depending on the rifle.

Did you see the current lipsey exclusive M77 alaskan? The stock is laminate and the barrel is only 20" which I could see being a deal breaker for you.
Good luck in your search!

Yessir! Actually have one allocated for myself currently. She is specifically asking for a blued one that looks like the Ruger Hawkeye Compact Magnum in .308 that I have. It too was made in 2011-2012. I’d prefer the stainless myself.

FWIW... I have the exact rifle you are looking for. Unfired, NIB. Its not currently for sale, but just for your reference on considering and pricing such a rifle; I purchased this rifle last June from Cabela's La Vista for $1899 plus tax. Shipped free to my local Bass Pro. So, i wouldn't consider your price range as paying too much. Granted, I was not overly price sensitive since i had been looking for this rifle for a while, and was not expecting NIB. These rifles come around once in a while, but they don't last long. Very limited production run 15 years ago. You might be able to find one cheaper that has been hunted, but be ready to jump on it if you do.

Alternatively, you could buy a used Husky in 9.3x62 for $600-$700 and, while not as pretty or as "collectable", would likely be every bit the shooter the Ruger is. My Husky shoots lights out, cycles perfectly with a butter smooth action to boot.. as most do.

I've been thinning the herd lately and I have one that just sits in the safe. Just could never take it out. Used my laminated stocked SS 30-06 on Moose instead.

Not looking to sell necessarily, but will as I’ve not shot it. So someone ought to use it I guess. Was from the local Cabela’s. It may be NIB, not for sure. If it was shot it was not much. It probably has a ding or two from handling at Cabela’s. What I noticed is the front sight seemed bent a little, whether from damage or an adjustment at the factory, I’m not sure. Think I have two boxes of ammo for it too.

Let me know if you want to move forward. I can get you a bunch of pictures or FaceTime to show you the rifle and go from there. I’ve only sold one gun on here, but bought a a number of items and can send you screen shots of the sale if you like.

I have exact rifle that i purchased new here from member who had upgrades done to the rifle. NECG 3 leaf , NECG banded gold bead front sight, mechanical recoil reducer and recoil pad. Test fired when new and then has been NIB since the gunsmithing upgrade. Might have trigger upgrade as well ill have to look back to see.
It is in the box with all paperwork from factory as well as all upgrade paperwork. I have a "few" 9.3s so id probably let this one go as well.
Have LOTS of diff types ammo as well if needed.
Think we are close on price as well.

DM me if interested.
Thanks

To those that have posted-thank you. Can’t wait to work a deal out with someone and bring a smile to that kids face.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
