    I took an Impala, Eland, Wildebeest and Gemsbok. and yes I think it is a updated GMX, as I've used them too with the same results.

    I've used my 338-06 several times with 200 and 225 gr bullets, and it does a great job, just remember is is not a LONG range caliber, stay under 250 yards and it is hard to beat.

    We found them to be undependable in cold weather, and as Zepther said above, they are slightly larger in dia.once you use them in a hull you must continue to do so.
