Just as a quick heads up.. There seems to be some evidence that the 168 gr. bullet you can buy for reloading are harder/tougher than the bullet used in Barnes own ammunition. There is a thread on the Norwegian forum Kammeret whith extensive testing of many different bullets. Here is a snapshot...

I have Skinner sights on my Winchester M70 Featherweight in 450 Marlin. I had to shim up the rear sight quite a bit, maybe 5-6mm. But I am very happy with the setup. I have a weaver base on the forward scope mount and I am thinking of mounting a Docter red dot with a quick release base.

You are correct, of corse. I havent been on the Trolls for a long time. I remember with some sense of awe lookin down almost 300 meters inside on of the concrete legs.

Good to hear :-) There seems to be both bullets and brass available to me in Norway. I am just missing the "launch plattform" :-) Some day, maybe.
@Shootist43 : Factory ammunition is quite expensive in 45/70 and non existent in 356 Win :) So it's reloads all the way. I cast my own bullets as well. I must say that I am a lite bit (or a lot) envious of your Winchester Model 71! This is my grail gun! Or one of them at least :) A Savage 99 is...
There are opportunities, but I am not to familiar with them. There are a few hoops you have to jump through: pay the hunting tax and so forth. But doable. There are no proper outfitters like for instance in Africa. So your best bet is possible a help full forum member from Norway :-)

We are sadly not allowed to use bows for hunting in Norway. Nor handguns. So its rifles all the way.
