15 rounds of 30-06 55 grains of IMR4451 165 grains SST CCI200 3.240 OAL Switching from WLR primers to CCI200 shrinks the groups by a lot. When a load gives you this kind of grouping at 200 yards, it’s worth trying again! Rifle is a Winchester Model 70 Super Grade.

I do all my full lenght resizing this way : 1- Full contact between the die and the shell holder. 2- At the moment of resizing, I place a 0.010’’ filler gauge blade between the shell holder and the die. This way, my cases goes a looonnng way.

My BRNO ZKK 602 375 H&H shoots this same load like a turkey gun. She likes the Barnes 270 TSX to be shot at around 2600fps.

I use IMR4831 in my 270 win. with 150 grains bullets and my 338 WM with 250 grains bullets. Never had a problem shooting them during the summer months versus fall.

I'm in Quebec and I've shot my share of woodchucks over the years. I've never shot gophers and it's something I would love to do once in my life. I have a .17 HMR and a 223 Rem. that would do just fine! :)
