I have some actual expertise here---I grew up in the Everglades in FL and we ate them all the time . Still shoot a few every year for Christmass dinner in Florida and they taste great..Like any game they have to be processed in the field correctly and cooked with somewhat different...

    advice on iron sights

so i reviewed the documentation that came with the rifle and indeed the regulating load is a Norma load called the Vulkan using a 15 gram or 232 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2559 fps. There is a included target of showing a 1 cm separation between the two barrels impact points at 50...

    advice on iron sights

OK---so not bad thoughts....I can look at a heavier bullet sent slightly faster, I have a skinner peep on a lever action 45-70 so that would work well here...I will contact New England about installing a skinner sight---I agree that abreech mounted folding leaf is probably not ideal

    Suppressors for heavy game rifles

thanks to everyone for your comment --- this gives me some perspective...I am going to have my 375 and 416 customizied to not use a muzzle brake or suppressor--- I think the handling of the rifle in the field is paramount here

    Suppressors for heavy game rifles

Dear all: I recently purchased CZ 550s in 375 and 416 Rigby for future African hunts (haven't been yet ) and, at least for the 375 , use on elk here in Montana. I am having the guns customizied and one thing I have had trouble getting any good information on is the use of noise supressors...
