Not speaking specifically to this course but in general most intro to long range shooting courses are around 3 to 4 days and $1500 to $2000...plus ammo, lodging etc
I'm a Merkel owner and agree with this post. Having said that, I purchased my Merkel for about a 1/4 of what a Heym would have cost so I don't think they are a fair comparison. I think availability and budget play a big factor when debating between these two.
Does anyone happen to know what the situation is for Canada. My understanding is that ivory cannot be imported under any circumstances but would you be allowed to import the hide and skull an exportable trophy bull or is no part of the elephant permissible?
Not sure your point, there are others on that list who don't make every single component themselves by hand. Winkler makes an amazing knife, but has a team that work under him. I don't ascribe to the philosophy that an item made by just one single person is necessarily better than one made by two.
