I got an order for a mini skinner done to his own supplied pattern so ground it up this morning so I could get it heat treated with the other blades that were to be done today. A very small knife with a 3 inch blade and 3 1/2 inch handle which will be red deer antler.
This isn't my design but there is something quiet nice about the blade shape so I reworked it a little to make a pattern with a 3 1/4 inch blade of the same shape but a fraction deeper with a little less recurve and a 3 3/4 in handle. It will make a very handy EDC/skinner. I will post a pic of the pattern of my take on this mini skinner tomorrow.
