Marlin: 1895 Classic 45/70 Lever Action Rifle With Scope

1895G, 45-70, 18-1/2" non ported JM barrel. Serial #97xxxxxx (2003)

Upside
The Blued metal is 99%, no rub or wear marks on any of the metal. The wood is in the same condition, or better, with factory sharp checkering. Bore is mirror like as would be expected with a rifle that was shot very little then put away. Safe queen without any safe dings. Factory recoil pad, sling studs and front sight hood.

Downside
The previous owner had a Winchester saddle ring installed. The rear sight is missing but a nice Blued filler block is installed.

Scope is a Bushnell Scopechief IV, 1x magnification, with a fine cross hair and the Command Post reticle. The knurled rings near the rear bell and the turret caps have some touched up rub marks but the rest of the scope looks great. Optics are bright and clear. The post to cross hair and back operation works flawlessly. 3 day non firing inspection period. I can provide the Imgur link for the rest of the pictures to any interested parties.
