Maybe the worst bolt action design ever created. Cogswell & Harrison produced it for a couple of years before the First WW, before admitting Mauser probably had a better idea. They were chambered in .450 Nitro Express. I have never had the courage to fire this one.
Interesting design, seemed that every manufacture during that period kept trying to invent the new best mouse trap for rifles and rounds. Shooting that rifle in a 450NE would check to make sure your filling in your teeth were in solid
