Meopta Optics

I have the Meopro 8X binoculars. Great to me, but in all honesty I’ve never looked through the upper end glass.

I have been playing around with different chassis/ scope combos on my 6.5 Grendel and have settled on the Meopro for now. I have no complaints about this product.

I have a MeoStar R1riflescope that I am happy with.

The image is sharp and very bright.

The red dot is adjustable to be useful all the way from night to bright sunshine.

It is like one step down from Zeiss Victory and friends (which I also use), at half the price or even less. Remarkable value for money.

I bought a MeoPro 3,5-10x44 RD several years ago that was being promoted at DSC for an incredibly low price. Lot of scope for the money at that time.

Safe shooting

I have been told that in the past the Zeiss Conquest line (lower end Zeiss products) were in fact made by Meopta. Used the Conquest scopes for a long time.

I’ve yet to hear anything negative about them, I’m hoping for a R2 1.7-10 myself!

I have the Optika 8x42 binos, they are pretty nice for the price. For under 400, they are not bad at all.
I might should get some to keep in my ranch truck. Can’t beat the Swaros up in this rough country. Good price.

That’s the thing isn’t it!

You won’t be disappointed! I have been using the same on a rifle for the last year and am well happy with it. 4K reticle illuminated is lovely.

I had a meopta spotting scope for 15+ years . Used it for whitetail from my kitchen out to 800 yards . Got fuzzy around the edges and meopta didn’t want to refurbish . They offered their top of line spotter for $2100 . Retails around $3000 . Great glass . Very comparable to the Swarovski I have at ranch .

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
