How about nine? One blank for separation if needed.

I have also eyed the M&M design. I believe I like it’s suitcase design better than the Els though theirs looks to be of higher quality. Of course it’s roughly 3 times the price depending on the model.

I would possibly change dimensions of the M&M to accommodate tonic and the Stanley ice bottle is a very nice touch with the Els.

I like the wood cutting board for slicing fresh limes as well. I will likely use the best features of both.

There is nothing classier than a teak chest.…
though definitely not as portable as leather.
Hi CBeck, I would be very interested in one of your hybrid field bars, please let me know when you are done.

I just finished up a rifle sling and made a few changes to the previous model. I added leather for the junctions rather than just sewn ends. The canvas is traditional English cotton webbing in natural color. The hardware is solid sand cast brass. All sewn by hand.

This particular one is headed to Africa in May with a fellow forum member on a lioness hunt. I‘ve started the matching hunting belt and shell slide to go with it. I’ll post them up when completed for anyone interested.

10 per holder....
Space two two for double rifle users...
No cover over the top all open

Good Idea! They look awesome with that maker stamp as well. Does that table have something to do with being in the timber business? Because it’s awesome as well.

I’ve got a barn with I’m guessing 100 some odd year old heart pine on it. When rebuilding parts of it, I used a few of the boards to build a cocktail table and a small round farmhouse table too. Thanks.

This is the larger table top…..

CBeck,
Great looking stuff! Since you're a rum guy, and in GA, have you tried Richland Rum? It's from a small town in SW Ga. They grow their own sugar cane, and distill from the juice, not molases.

It's one of my favorites. If you haven't, give it a try.

I most certainly will. I actually didn’t know about them and I’m always looking for my next favorite rum. I just looked them up. I’m right in the middle between both their locations though both about 2.5 hours away.

Thanks for the heads up! Is it available in Idaho?

Absolutely! We used to hunt near them - Shellman, and a friend found it - before they opened the 2nd location. Their dark stuff is addictive. 1 ice cube and a couple of finger's worth in a rocks glass, and then it's followed by another... It's the closest I've had next to the Martinique Rhums, my 1st favorite. Vieux Clement.

Sadly it's not available here, we're an ABC state, so no joy. I've tried several times to have some shipped/smuggled in to no avail. I think my girl has 2 bottles hidden in the cabin somewhere, in case of snake bite. Now if I can only find that dang snake...

I tend towards the dark rums myself and love a rum old fashioned. I’ll be heading to my favorite spirit purveyor and have them order me a bottle. Oddly enough I’ve never seen it on a shelf here.

……hmmm, I think I will make one now

Get some - the single estate. old South GA Rum. I wasn't as big of a fan of the coastal, terrapin or port aged. Heck, if you don't enjoy it, I'll give you your $$ back.

@CBeck, have you tried Flor De Cana? It is a Nicaraguan rum, and has won several world medals. Very good and smooth. :)

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
