You're right!! Naivety or just plain ignorance. Luckily this guy handled the situation pretty good otherwise it could have turned out badly!

That ele has obviously lost all fear of humans. Looks like a situation similar to what happens with bears in the States. Tourists think it is cool to feed the bears and they get habituated to people and eventually become a real nuisance, then someone gets injured or killed.
Agreed that the people in the video did all the right things. That could have been a major disaster. Sadly the next people may not be so lucky.

Freaked me out and I was just watching on my phone!

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.
