I try not to watch any of the mad max franchise past road warrior. The feral boy with the sharpened boomerang is my favourite character.

Why is that? IMO, one of the better ones in the Mad Max series and well
within the theme. Coherent story, good acting, good direction, etc. Also IMO, even without others in the series, it’s easily a stand alone.

For me they stray to far from the original story line. The falcon and heeler were both characters in there own right. By beyond thunderdome the franchise feels played out and when you add a change of cast I can take it or leave it. Just my 2c and that’s more that it’s likely worth.
