AH MEMBER HUNT - HOST OUTFITTER?

Damn Mike, if she treats you as sweetly as she is that bottle, your one lucky man! BTW, what is on her right hip?

:D that is what @PeteG calls her half samurai sword ;) http://www.kabar.com/knives/detail/12 usually resides in her handbag when she is not on the boat along with a glock 19 sometimes, that is only in zambia of course. :)

everything must be like a slushpuppy there.........

Ice auger to make some holes and ice chips, fill your glass and away you go.

Yea Mike, fantasies though, huh.........

Many of the questions, thus far have been about dates and size of the group, discounts, etc.

Beyond that, what about the OUTFITTER.
Some have volunteered and shown interest to support the idea. Is that good enough?

What questions would you be asking of the outfitter for this group hunt?
Do we assume everyone has managed a large group hunt?

I know everyone that has stepped up thus far (PawPrint, KMG, ) is Licensed as an Outfitter and PH in their part of the country.

Maybe the question we need to ask is he taking his meds? Bruce

Brickburn I can say Pieter handled are group of 5 guys just fine. Loodt had 3 of us and all went will but he just did a bigger group a few weeks ago and all went well. Plus marius helped pull off that big group hunt for the US service men so I would say all them check out that way.

I think a question would be if anything would be off limits on animals that could be hunted.I don't think some of the more specialize hunts could be done for like all 6 hunters. Maybe a long shot that 6 guys would want to but hunting like 6 bushpigs or vallies would be very hard I would think. I would say guys wanting 6 kudu or the more standard animals would not be as hard.

I'm not crazy! My mother had me tested.... :A Thumbs Up:
Yes but she regrets not sending you to that specialist in Dallas......hahaha

This probably does sum up decently. However we need input from the outfitters as to their capabilities. So for now are we only looking at RSA outfits? I am great with all of these, but will there be a Namibian option?

Spike, are you throwing your hat in the ring? What is going on in Zambia these days? Or are you in reserve for the "After party"? ... Not to be too chauvinistic, but so far the assumption seems to be that this is going to be all guys.....

Fellows, do you think Mike is laying the weeds waiting to get the women's group up there?

Bill I would think it would make it more interesting and easy going/fun if there was a wide variety of species targeted amongst the group. Not to mention reducing pressure on prime areas within the outfitters concessions.

nope thats in case anyone decides they like her handbag too much or any other such scenario ........and there are staff to do those fish things ;)
Mike; I forget how easy you guys have it in Africa.... At home we have a rule, you catch it, you clean it.... Must be why we practice so much catch and release.... with fish anyway.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
