She is doing great! Now frisky as half her age. She was at vet on Tuesday for x-rays and blood work. Her liver count was up which is concerning but nothing visible on x-rays. Was hoping they could get her in this week for better look with ultrasound. By Monday she was pretty much back to normal. It's a bit of a mystery.

At thirteen Puppy is still going strong. She's hooked in tandem with Ellie on one leash when I walk them. Every morning Puppy hits sled dog mode the last block before the donut shop. Quite funny to see that little old dog leaping and hauling Ellie and me full tilt down the sidewalk. Spunky little shit. She is getting quite deaf but otherwise the picture of health. Amazing.

If you are still interested in a CZ 550 in 416 Rigby, a friend and fellow shooter here in Grays Harbor, Washington has such a rifle he is willing to sell along with dies, brass, etc. I am familiar with the rifle. It is in excellent condition, although not NIB. He is not a member of this site, but I can give you his contact info and you might be able to get a nice rifle at a fair price.
Hey Charlie.
Nice Sako. Would you consider $2,100 shipped? Im looking to pick up a 375 HH for future African safari.
Small world - yes it is indeed sn 1200 - purchased it cheaply so no dramas on that - but will pass it to a gunsmith before it leaves England - big question does it shoot accurately

The Gun Smith who I commissioned to build it didn't do a very good job in the first place, then messed up the feed lips trying to get it to feed

i had the feed lips rewelded and refettled by another smith

He got it to the condition you now have it in

However I lost trust in it and binned it
New Member, I have enjoyed all the posts from the site and hope to learn more about hunting in Africa. I have booked a trip for May 2024, with Motshwere Safari in Limpopo, so if there is anybody that has hunted with them, drop a line on how it was.

I have hunted with Motshwere twice with my entire family and also plan to return in 2025. My family and I have been treated with the utmost respect by everyone and I truly feel they are now part of my family!!!! I have harvested amazing quality animals and love every minute I am there. Would recommend Motshwere over and over again.

It is interesting that katieviss, bri4aim and Nicole dunlavy joined on the same day, liked each others comments (That all says the same thing), that was posted on the same day and have not been active since... I smell a rat.
Hi Hunter-Habib,

I really enjoyed your story on the man-eater. That must have been an amazing experience. It has the making of a Corbett or Patterson book.

When I saw your name, Hunter-Habib, I was sort of curious. Is Habib your name or is it used as in Arabic as a friend--Hunter's friend or something along those lines?

Regards,

RICHARD SALOOM
Hi Bob, hope you're doing well. So now I'm the owner of two 400 Whelens. Strictly by chance I happened on a custom build with 1903 Springfield action, Douglas barrel, Boyd stock and Redfield Olympic peep sight. I'm working on loads and sighting in so it's big fun.

Mate you are going to have fun working up loads for that one as well.
A bloke in OZ necked up a 280AI case to 375 and is getting really impressive velocities. I wonder how the same case would go at 35 and 400. More capacity than the Whelen and Whelen AI case. Interesting.

Hello,
How much would the shipping be in a USPS "flat rate" box for two boxes of the Rigby brass?
Thanks!
Mark
