As stated in the title I'm looking to buy a RCBS 475 No. 2 Shell Holder & a RCBS 450 No. 2 Die Set and Shell Holder.

The 475#2 shell holder and 450#2 shell holder are one in the same (same case just different neck diameters)

@SkullKeeper Thanks, I was thinking that was likely the case (pun intended). Do you know if any other shell holders match (like the 470 or ???).

I believe the rim on the 470 measures 0.655, the rim on my 450#2 measured 0.660 so no it probably wouldn’t work. Interesting enough if you look up rim diameters on the internet of both 450#2 & 475#2 you will find measurements from 0.650 all the way through 0.675 ?!?! What the heck right ??
I do know the parent case for the 475#2 is the 450#2 I suppose these rim measurements varied between brass manufacturers.

No telling. The Internet is filled will erroneous information that has been repeated so often as to be believed as fact. Like to two 475 No 2’s being interchangeable. Appreciate the info on the shell holder sizes.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
