After reading all this I am still somewhat confused at the % reductions.
When I book I do not really care about his TF % reductions, I have a list I would like to hunt and want a final TF price. This I compare to other outfits in area. Winning outfitter should be in ballpark, all other things being same. BEFORE I pay or leave I also want an up to date TF price list on all species they offer. Then there are no surprises when the bush offers me X animal. Most outfits do give a discount then of their posted price as they want you to shoot.
Namibia is a fantastic place, like SA without them dam fences, saw more free wild running game there than anywhere else. Also most I ever shot on one safari. Another thing I always do is ask for "free" shooting if possible. Bait, ration, cull, and even rabies kudu were all shot free on Namibian hunt.
One last point, you will regret NOT hunting/shooting a mnt zebra as you are in the proper spot to get a wild, free range one. My hunt area was huge, no fence and 100 x 100 km, near Kamanjab, I learned Zebra live in real mnts.
Whatever you decide good luck. Enjoy safari.
